Low-sodium recipes

low-sodium

Low-sodium recipes that keep per-serving sodium under common heart-healthy thresholds, with herbs, citrus, and aromatics doing the seasoning work instead of salt. Each recipe lists per-serving sodium in milligrams, calories, protein, carbs, fat, prep time, and yield. Use them when blood pressure is a target or when you want to keep more sodium budget for the rest of the day.

What makes these low sodium recipes different?

Low-sodium here is enforced at the ingredient level. Cured meats, soy sauce, broths with added salt, and most pre-made condiments are filtered out unless a low-sodium variant is named explicitly. Per-serving sodium values come from USDA-style reference data applied to the actual ingredient grams, so the number on the page reflects the recipe — not a marketing summary. Recipes above the threshold are excluded before publication.
