Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F)

  2. Mince garlic and onion finely

  3. In a bowl, combine ground lamb, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, fresh mint, salt, and pepper

  4. Form into 12-14 meatballs of equal size

  5. Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes until cooked through

  7. While meatballs bake, cook pasta according to package directions, drain and set aside

  8. In a saucepan, heat olive oil and add tomato paste, stirring for 1 minute

  9. Add crushed tomatoes and oregano, simmer for 5 minutes

  10. Add cooked meatballs to tomato sauce, simmer for 5 more minutes

  11. Serve meatballs and sauce over pasta

  12. Garnish with fresh basil
